Purpose
The proliferation of fast fashion is fueling an environmental crisis in many parts of the world, particularly in developing areas like West Africa, East Africa, and Southeast Asia. American clothing waste is shipped to these places where they clog up beaches, walkways, and marketplaces. These dumped clothing items are damaging not only their quality of life but also their environment. I created Theo’s Closet because I’d rather see my items purchased with love and continue on rather than being in a landfill.
